Neuhausen am Rheinfall (which was called "Neuhausen" until 1983) is best known for the tourist attraction Rheinfall (mainland Europes biggest waterfall), which is shared with its neighbouring town "Laufen-Uhwiesen".

Neuhausen am Rheinfall has two train stations, one for the SBB and the other for DB. Servicing the community there is also the trollybus from Schaffhausen.
